Installation Guide

Thank you for being one of the first to test Zura! As this is an early alpha version, you're getting an exclusive look at our app while it's still in development. Your feedback is essential to us. Pick your platform below and follow the steps to install.

Android

Download the App

First, tap Android above to get the Zura APK file (zura.apk).

Allow Installation from Unknown Sources

Because this version is not yet published on the Google Play Store, your phone will show a standard security warning. This is completely normal for apps in testing.

To proceed, you will need to allow the installation:

When the security pop-up appears, tap "Settings".
Find the option for your browser (e.g., Chrome) or "this source" and enable "Allow from this source".
Go back to the previous screen, and the installation will continue.

You can disable this setting again after installing Zura.

Complete the Installation

Once you've given permission, tap "Install" to finish the setup.

iOS (TestFlight)

Get TestFlight

Install Apple's free TestFlight app from the App Store, if you don't already have it. Zura's iOS beta is delivered through TestFlight.

Open the Invitation

Tap iOS above (or open the TestFlight invite link). It opens TestFlight and shows the Zura beta.

Accept & Install

Tap "Accept", then "Install" to add Zura to your home screen.

Open Zura

Launch Zura from your home screen and sign in to start testing.

Beta expiry: TestFlight builds expire after about 90 days. When that happens, just reopen the same invite link or update from TestFlight to get the latest build.

Important Notes for Alpha Testers:

Performance: The app may feel slow or unresponsive at times. We are actively working on performance improvements, and we appreciate your patience.
Mandatory Updates: You may be prompted to install a "forced update." Please do so when you see it. This ensures you are always testing the latest, most stable version available.
